Sometimes you just have one of those nights. Where you jump into a nice hot bath, and Ray Charles comes on the radio. And you think, “It doesn’t get any better that this…”. And you’re thinking about the previous tune on the radio – was that Monk backing up Charlie Parker? And how badass was that anyways. And dammit Ray Charles could sing and swing and groove. And then you know – before the song ends – that in 10 minutes you’ll be on your couch with a bowl of cereal wanting, more than anything else, to watch just some stupid shit on T.V.
